Default Starting Problems in my 95

I have a 95 and it usually takes about 8 seconds before it finally starts. I have replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and no difference. We are stuck with this issue. Any suggestions would help tremendously.

when you go to start it next try just turning the key onto acc first for like 30sec an then turn it back off then try starting it as you normally would had the same problem with mine for a very long time and could never figure it out and then i went an unbolted the wires that connect to the starter an bolted back up an now have not had a problem for months now

It cranks over normally but it still takes 8 seconds before it actually starts. We have replaced the starter about 6 months ago. I am going to try turning to acc then starting it. I will let you know the results.

That was due to a voltage drop at the wires.
