Starts then dies
So my 95 blazer will start and run for about 20 seconds or so and then die. It runs fairly smooth and you can rev it up but it will die even with a foot on the gas. New fuel pump about a year ago but 0 miles on it. I put a new spider and filter on it today. This is the first time I've ever had it running as it sat for a really long time. Anyone have any ideas?
1995 was a transition year using 2 different computer control systems with 2 different diagnosis procedures. Do the spark plug wires attach to the distributor cap vertical or horizontal? Is the alternator on the driver side or passenger side of the engine?
Is the check engine light on? if so, what DTC's are present, and what order were they retrieved?

Thanks for the reply. I got it straight now though. After starting it a dozen or so times trying to diagnose it, it just cleared up. After setting for 10 years I guess it had some kinks to work out lol.
