[align=center]well i took my blazer to the shop and got the cv axels replaced, pitman arm and idler arm replaced. my blazer still has some give in the steering but the shop said it was not steering box thank goodness, but it still is not tight. could someone give a list of parts from cheapest to most expencive of parts that should get replaced to take out the looseness. or just give some input. and wouldjust a front end tire alighnment fix all of it. thanks

*Moving to 2nd Gen Tech*
The design of the steering system (reciprocating ball) has some inherent slop near center. If you had a shop look it over and they replaced what they felt is necessary, then it sounds like you should be fairly good from a wear standpoint.
An alignment won't really help if things feel sloppy, but it may change how the vehicle tracks down the road if there is an alignment problem. An alignment should be done if the idler and/or pitman arm are replaced though. The shop should not have let it leave without performing an alignment.
If you are still worried about the steering feel, the only other things to change in the steering would be the inner and outer tie rod ends. They all cost about the same and it would require a front end alignment once they have been replaced as well. I am bad at giving estimates out for this kind of work because I do it all myself besides the alignment.
