Default Steers Right

99 Jimmy new Moog ball joints, end links, front sway bar bushings and CV axles Does not pull when braking. 2 alignments later shop says idler arm needs replacement. What other steering component could cause this type of issue. Thanks for reading.

pulling to the right is either sticking brake or bad alighnment (camber angle). It's a 4x4 so camber is an easy adjustment. Also the tires on the front have to be the same, if the sizes are different they will pull, if air is low in one it will pull, sometimes even the tread pattern can make it pull.

Caster can cause a pull too! The car will pull to the side with less caster. MOST alignment shops dont check caster.

looking at the data sheet the alignment shop provided me it looks like Camber was off -0.7 degrees (front left) and was adjusted to be within spec 0 degrees. (front right) was with in spec -0.3 degrees and was not adjusted. Caster was within spec FL 2.0 FR 2.5 degrees

Tires are same size 235/75/15 I have rotated them frequently to try and keep the tread pattern even but the pulling has worn the inner front tires. The first alignment was performed with new tires though and at the time pulling was slight and progressively has been getting worse.

how was the toe? that eats tires

Toe before alignment FL -0.25 FR -.027 both were brought back within spec 0.05 and 0.08.

if the alighnment is as you say then it is correct. inner tire wear is signs of too much negative camber.

The only thing i can think of is either you drive on roads with a slant or there is a brake or something sticking on the passenger side making it pull. How bad is the pull? You let go and it slowly drifts off or is it sudden and constanly having to fight it?

yeah i thought is was the roads but taking it on newly paved roads and straight highways does the same thing, if I let go of the steering wheel it veers to right gradually maybe a couple seconds before i have to grab back on and bring it back. I will check the brakes I had asked the shop to do so not sure they did tho.
