well i am about to do a brake job next weekend but i noticed my rear drivers side caliper is sticking. i took it apart to take a look and i can move the caliper back into the body (only moved it slightly i didnt have a c-clamp with me) so the caliper is not seized, but once i put everything back together and pressed the brake, the caliper sticks..enough that i can not turn the wheel by hand. i drove the truck for a few miles and the rotor is hot to the touch, but no burning smell. what causes a caliper to stick? i will more than likely end up with a new caliper on that side, but im just wondering.

It could be that the flexible brake hose is shot; it will act like a check valve.
To test it, apply the brake and try to turn the wheel. If it won't turn, open the brake bleeder to relieve the pressure. If the wheel then turns freely, the hose is shot.
