Default strange grinding noise 97 bravada

My 97 bravada has started making a weird grinding noise, but only when i press the gas and when i let off of the gas, it's making my cupholders and tray rattle, also i noticed I'm getting a pretty bad misfire when i go over 4k rpms while it is in gear...this doesn't happen if i rev the engine in neutral..any ideas?

Thanks!

Have you checked over the brakes and the rest of the drivetrain? Does the noise change if you turn right or left?

About your misfire, when was the last time you had a tune up done? You may want to remove your ICM and coil to have them tested. Most autoparts stores can test them. Have the test repeated 10+ times in quick succession to get the components hot.

I just redid the brakes a couple of months ago so they should be good, and the noise doesn't change as far as I can tell. I haven't had the cash to do any kind of tune up other than I changed the oil...I'm wondering if maybe it has something to do with it being in gear cause that's the only time it does it, and it's not throwing a SES light, could it be something in the tranny or torque converter? the car also rolls forward just a bit when it goes into park, I don't know if that's normal or not cause my honda doesn't. thanks!

Any way that you could get a sound clip of the noise?
