I have a 01 blazer 4.3l 4 door 4x4 with 131 000 miles heres my problem 1 day this winter she would not start you can here the fuel pump come on and it will crank, because I was out of work I let it sit. 2 days ago I put a few drops of gas down the throttle body and she fired right up and ran a little ruff now she fires right up with no problems and drives well I'm replacing the fuel filter this afternoon but people have said replace the fuel pump and others have said the manifold valve. Me confused me good at doings me not good at knowing. Please help and thanks in advance.

 

If it only failed to start 1 time during the winter, then sat all that time and started I wouldn't worry about unless it happened again. It would be pretty hard to find a problem that happened 2 months ago if it's not happening now.

 

update I replaced the fuel filter and the gas that came out of it was black!! now that I think about it my step son has a habit of runnung it very low on gas. I guess it's time for him to learn how to replace the filter himself and where to buy 1. Thanks for youre help!
