stuck in 4x4

Default stuck in 4x4

posting for a friend, his 2005 blazer is stuck in 4x4 and wondering if anyway to get it to 2 wheel without the button that u push, pretty much his whole dash was stolen (supposedly rare part to find in canada since insurance company has to try order from states) any info be great thanks

If it's in 4 high, you might be able to remove the vacuum actuator and disengage the front axle. The t-case would still be spinning the front drive shaft, but it wouldn't be turning the front wheels.

There is probably a better way to somehow get it to shift electronically, but I don't have a clue.

i did one manually on a envoy the other day, i just unbolted the motor off the transfercase and turned the dial with a pair of pliers
