red: no helpful advice. anything is better than nothing and worse case i would have it for when i have to do the passenger side.

I guess what I meant is that I've never replaced a freeze plug on the driver's side. Nor have I replaced one behind a motor mount. I would assume (as long as you can access it) that taking it out would be the same as the other you already did. Here's a link to a How-to I made for the passenger side plug, maybe it'll help,

not sure how accessible it is but I have used a pry bar to go in there on an angle and pry it out. Not too sure, though how accessible it is. Possible some kind of slide hammer would help but again it all depends how well you can get at it but it will come out. Done passenger side and front side but to my knowledge, never did one on the passenger side-good luck and let us know how you ultimately make out! Jerry

well i replaced the freeze plug today. it looks good but i need to put everything together to make sure its good. pics are soon to come
