I put another steering column in my 99 s10 , it went in with no problem but I cannot get it out of park. It looks like an extra piece is on the column that was not on the old one, it is mounted on the right side and it has a short rod that is attached to the shift lever and below it is where the transmission cable goes, it also has two wires going to it. Anyone knows what I am talking about and how to solve? Thanks,
