will not shift into park

Default will not shift into park

hey guys im trying to help out a buddy he has a 99 blazer and it just recently wount shift into park by the column. i can get it into park by hand if i crawl under it. ive tried to adj linkage but no matter how far forward i make it it wount go to park and it also takes away 1st

You will need to replace the shift cable. Mine did the same thing. Check out my sig for a write up on exactly how to do it. It's easy and doesnt take long at all.

i have a 99 Chevy blazer. Exactly with mine is the same issue as them. Except I have a column shifter. Not sure what the cable is supposed to look like. I hate starting it in neutral. Any ideas?
