my sunroof opens intermitantly. When it does finally open it pops like its getting stuck on something.

 

When does it pop? Starting or stopping?

Mine also pops when it gets into position because of the frame under it pushing it up against the seal.

If that's the issue, then your intermittent working could be the switch, the motor, or wiring.

 

When opening, it will normally drop down a little and then slide back right?

(when mine does work)
it will drop down a little pop loose and slide back

(when it doesn't work)
It only drops down a little and stops.

I can figure out what it's hanging up on.
