Default tensioner assembly

I was told that it needs to be replaced and i just had it replaced 2yrs ago. the part isnt expensive so would it be worth it to just go ahead and have it replaced. It only has 12k miles on the assembley. and how hard is to change out bc it looks like itd only take a couple of minutes to replace it
