I wish I had my old blower motor to take apart!

I would be more interested in dissecting a failed blower motor control module to see what kind of circuitry there is in there to control the resistance on the motor leads based off of the 5V PWM signal from the HVAC control module. It almost has to be an electronically controlled variable resistor, but I seem to recall there being discrete fan speeds in my old Bravada. That was a very long time ago though...

Was this a blower motor for a Computer Climate Control (auto HVAC) system?

I'm not used to your terms (I usually speak french), this blower comes from my 2000 Blazer LT and everything related to heating A/C automatic. I do hope it answer your question.

Denis,

Well, your English is much better than my French! :-)

Yes, you did anwer my question. Your automatic heating and AC would be the type where the temperature is set and the system tries to maintain that temperature. That is the type I have too.

I've already changed my blower for the Four Season 35159, so everything seems to work, as usual, the outside temperature does not permit me to use the A/C in real condition. I'm going to rebuild my original blower soon as I have new bushing/bearing made. The shaft is 5/16 (.312) .035 loose on the blower side.

I was born French, then went to English high-school and life style and lost my French. Then moved to northern Ontario and got some French back, and losing it again. Trying to get it back! Can read and understand, but not talk and write so well lol, especially when drinking!
