Default Which of these two intake gaskets should i buy?

there is 2 Felpro intake gaskets out there. one is part#MS95832 which is what the book calls for my 1995 4x4 S10 Vortec CPI "W" engine. and the other is Felpro part# MS93346-1 which is for the other "Z" motor which happens to be the same gasket excepet for that the rear coolant passage is blocked off. so i was thinking since my lower intake has that rear passage blocked off anyway why not use the "Z" gasket instead with the passage blocked off so that the coolant doesnt touch the aluminun there like the open gasket would? what do you guys think? can i do that? thanks

would it be a good idea to call and check with Felpro?

MS95832 is the only one that consistently comes up for your application.

i know that MS95832 is the only one that consistently comes up for my application but the other intake gaskets for the "Z" motor are the same except that the rear coolant passage is blocked off....so i figured since my intake CPI "W" eninge does not have a coolant passage there why not use the blocked off gasket? or will this idea backfire on me? thanks

ok i figured out which is the better lower intake gaskets to use for the 92 thru 95 CPI "W" engine... it is the Felpro part# MS93346-1 .... because they have the rear coolant passages blocked off and they have the same size intake runner ports as the felpro MS95832.... so this makes the MS93346-1 ideal for the CPI "W" engines.... i have comparsion pics if anyone wants....or if someone can tell me how to post them here...

#1 here is a picture showing the comparison of the two different part number gaskets layed on top of each other. they are exact except for the coolant passage at the rear is blocked off. its best to use the blocked off gaskets for better sealing around the coolant hole. refer to my post#7 for more details.

#2 another side by side picture...i have many more pictures of you need of these gaskets, just let me know...

Yep, identical except for the rear coolant port.
