Question Third Brake Light Removal

Im sure that there is a way to remove the third brake light off of a 96 blazer does anyone have instruction on the removal process? I observed that the wires are routed and cant see where to
disconnect it and is it just the two screws on the top that removes the light bar itself?

Yep. Are you talking about a permanent removal?

pull the upper cross bar from the cargo area (where your rear dome light is), and pull down the head liner slightly (be careful of the liner, it's fragile) and you'll see the small plug for the 3rd brake light. now you can unplug it.

question, why would you want to deleate the 3rd brake light? it's kinda useful.
