throttle body interchange

Default throttle body interchange

hello all , i cant seem to find this info anywhere , do all; the second gen 96 scfpi and up to 2005 blazers use the same throttle body ?

The thing to do is a part-number cross-reference. Rock Auto makes this pretty easy to do. You can also do this at an online GM parts vendor.

You can go to TascaParts.com and run the different years yourself to check, but it looks like there is one PN for the 96-97, another for the 98-99, and two others that are applicable to the 2000-2007 4.3L engine (yes, 2007 as the 4.3L was used in the full-size trucks during and after the s-series production).

Now...what changed? Without having one of each of them in front of me, I can't say for sure, but I would bet it was minor casting variations through the years as a pattern was updated due to wear, etc.
