Default Timing Issues. Information please.

Okay, so my blazer has been running like crap. I hooked a timing light up to check the timing for shiggles. I have noticed that the passenger side bank has one strong fire and my little painted dot stays in the same place, but there is also a random little fire that is about 1/3 away from normal. Its firing twice, is this even possible? there is only 1 coil and distributor. I separated the wires to make sure there was no cross feed.

Has this ever happened to anyone...Any speculation? Advice?

sounds like you have a bad distributor cap causing crossover firing do to cracking inside the cap between the linear post(s) which in fact will cause 1 or more cylinder(s) to fire twice.
