Question Tire Patch Question

So yesterday I get a screw in my tire, kinda a big deal because I just purchased my tires! so today I actually got around to pulling the screw out today and it ended up being about a 3 inch BOLT! so my question is giving the size of the hole (about the size of a normal screw hole) if I go get the tire Patched at a shop instead of plugged will I still be able to get the normal life out of my tire or am I better off sucking it up and buying another tire?

Better yet, use a "patchplug"... either way, tire life will be normal.

A plug is simply covered in tire glue and shoved into a tubeless tire.
A patch entails the tire being dismounted and the patch is installed over the unintended hole.
A patch-plug is a combo of both that has to be installed from the inside.

I would not expect to pay more than $10 - $15 to have a flat repaired.

Default New tires! Now warrenty??

I would go with the patch plug if u decide to repair it. If u decide to replace it with a new one U could goto walmart and Buy a road hazzard warranty. Or a life time rotation and balance warrenty. I would call around different shops and find out what they offer.

Yah up here in maine we have to use the patch plug method, state claims without the patch the plug will fly out. They say even this method is "temporary",but ive seen trailer truck tires with just a plug that make it to their tread life end.
