trailer wiring

Default trailer wiring
I just installed a hitch assembly on my 2000 Blazer and now am trying to splice in the four wire connector for my trailer. The problem is the there is 6 wires coming from the vehicle. Just wondering if I am suppose to splice in the main four and just tape off the other two.

Yep, just use the ones you need and tape the rest up.
