Default Tranmission question

I have a 95 blazer with the OBD 1.5 computer. Could someone tell me what the transmission model number is? I was looking on the net for a website that could provide this information from the VIN number, but have been unsuccessful. I have read articles about some of the harnesses are different because this year was a transition year from obd1 to obdII. Any help would be appreciated so I can get a new tranny for my daughters blazer.

Thanks
bizzs

On the RPO code sticker in the glove box, you should find "M30". If so, the vehicle was originally equipped with a 4 speed automatic, electronic shift, 4L60E transmission. Any 4L60E will work, 2WD or 4WD, but you may have to transfer the bell housing, and tail housing adapter from your original transmission.

Not just the housing but the output shaft as well is shorter for 4wd than 2wd. That requires a complete teardown. So if you have a 4wd, you need a 4wd transmission.
