Default Tranny filter/oil change or not?

I havea 1999 Bravada with 110,000miles and bought used. No problems with transmission but want to change oil/filter. I have read of problems doing this wonder if that is if it is flushed.Would youchange the filter and oil or let it ride?

Default RE: Tranny filter/oil change or not?

I had a perfectly fine tranny, and did a flush and fill at 95k miles...havn't had a problem. Fluid is still nice and red everytime I check it

The problem is tranny shock, and I believe Lucas or Marvin's Mystery whatever make a treatment for when you service high mileage trannys.

Also I think you can get away with just doing a fluid change, just dropping pan, letting it drain, then refill...not a full power flush.
