Default Trans Help, please. need to find what type

Hi, I have a problem with my trans in a 96 s10 blazer AWD, 4dr. I need help finding out what trans goes in this vehicle. I need to find a replacement or someone to rebuild ASAP.

Vin# 1GNDT13W4T2292069

Is there a site I can go to to find out which trans it is? I have been searching the net with no real results. I can go find the numbers on the trans, it is just real crappy weather out right now raining and what not to climb under it.

I live in Lansing, MI if someone in the area has a rebuilt one or usable used one for sale.

Thanks

A little bit of searching around here would have told you that you have a 4L60E. You will need a transmission out of a 96-97 4wd vehicle with a 4L60E transmission. There are quite a few of them.

Thank you. I tried looking in the pinned topics for vin information. I tried some other searches also, maybe I wasn't using the right key words. Thank you again.
