Default transfer case blown-can i use 2x2 60E rear housing and drive shaft

my transfer case is blown but need blazer 2001 for work can i use a tail housing from a 60E and a 2x2 drive shaft or will i need other parts. what will my computer do???

If i remember correctly the output shaft of the 4x4 is either longer or shorter then the 2wd version
