What kind of fluid does the transfer case use? Dexron III?

That would be the non auto4wd transfer case if im thinking correct. If that is the case you can run, dexron 3 or 6 since it is suppose to be the only thing you can find now,you can also use autotrak 2 if u want according to my dealer

 

Yep, Dexron III. VI is backwards compatible, but for a transfer case, it really does not need to be the synthetic type unless you are into all that.
