Unhappy transfer case module

Hello, I've read many post on tccm's and have found none that sound like my problem. Driving in normal 2 wheel ,lights on all buttons start to click and light up on the button switch (4 button) then my 4 wheel trys engaging , never stays in just quick slams. Safe to say its the tccm? Thanks Ric 1999 blazer

Im not really following what you are trying to ask but that sounds more like and short at the switch:
"lights on all buttons start to click and light up" <-- meaning at cruising speed suddenly your 4WD trys to kick in on it's own?
"never stays in just quick slams" <-- meaning regardless of speed, when this happens, you TC attempts to lock, slams, then fails?

do the lights stay clicking/blinking? do they die after that? and Service 4WD lights? does the 4wd work when you want it to?

Some easy stuff to do while you wait for someone who knows more than me, or follows what you are saying better, would be to check your fuses, and maybe pop the 4wd switch out and check the connections there. you can also pull the kick plate and look at the connections on your TCCM. clean and re-assemble.
Good Luck

Thanks ! Sorry for the crazy explanation, The lights do go off after a while, and sometimes the switch stops clicking and the light stay on all the time, depends on its mood! If nothing is clicking or blinking i can engage the 4Wheel no problem, the lights will also start to blick when in 4 wheel but doesnt affect the 4 wheel, ill pull the switch and check it out also, that would be alot cheaper, thanks Ric

ABN31B, your understanding of my explanation was correct!! Thanks Ric
