Well after working in 30* something garage and the tcase almost falling I finaly got it balanced on my jack and got it lifted straight up.I then I used a 1x4 and stuck it across the front of tcase with board sitting across the torsion bars holding it up in place.With help of the jack I slid it together and mated it with trans and got bolted on.I also got the rear drive shaft installed.My feet and hands couldnt take the cold anymore and after fighting rolling around on a creeper (craftsman) that doesnt want to roll cause all the wheel bearings are falling out I called it day.The good news is I should have heater later today and should get the front output shaft installed tomorrow.

 

Been there, done that, no fun. One nice thing about working in the cold, wet your hands and you don't have to worry about dropping wrenches 'cause they stick to your hands either that or your hands are frozen shut around them!

 

I have carpel tunnel so bad I already have that problem,I have to pry my fingers open just let go of a wrench or ratchet.I have been working on this thing for about 10 days in a row nonstop.Good news about our weather is its supposed be warming up slowly over the next 5-6 days Upper 40`s to near 50* so they say.So it shouldnt be as bad as today.
