Default transfluidchangenopowerremove4wdfuse

Heres a good one.
So I bought a 99 4x4 4.3 blazer auto with a rebuilt motor with 40k miles on it.it has a different trans, with god knows how many miles on it.the trans would only shift manualy. So I dropped the pan, changed two of the silonoids, changed the filter, that stubborn o-ring,and added 5 quarts of fresh tranny fluid, then I threw it all back together.Still isn't shifting.Well come to find out I broke one of the speed sensors and YES it had to be that bastard on the drivers side.
Well it started shifting thankfully, but the damm thing didn't have any power in Drive. So i started shifting it manually again, and the power was there. So I get to researching.I searched trans fluid change,no power, limp mode over and over until I found a post with a older lady with the same problems, but suprisingly it wasn't on this site, and for some reason I cant find it again.Well everyone was pointing to the transfercase for some reason.Change this, change that and that, they said. Then a wiseman came on and said "That's a lot of money to be blowing troubleshooting, just pull the damm 4wd fuse and see if that's gonna help your problem."Well it did!!!
Now with the 4wd fuse out it runs and shifts, but no fuel, temp,or oil pressure gauge.I just fixed the tranny, changed the whole front end, changed oil, fuel filter ,air conditioner, distributor wires and plugs and a lot more.i put way to much money into this project. The distributor just popped up out the blue, like a test from GOD himself and it screwed me all up.Can some one help me pinpoint this problem.Im not good meter at all,but I Know how to use a test light pretty good.
On a side note
4x4 never worked.Previous owner said it had a vacuum leak.
I haven't had a chance to put any real miles since the distributor incident.i had the battery unplugged a few times so no codes as of yet.Except ABS light
With the 4wd fuse IN.Takes off like its in 3rd.Trans will hesitate pretty hard and then shift.wont down shift if I stomp it
With the 4wd fuse OUT.I got power.Trans shifts good but when it goes to shift it hesitates a little bit and then it shifts fine.
And im going to add. That the bastard o-ring for trans filter.Well lets just say its about 90%in there right. Not my best work.
I HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE ELSE ONE DAY.and I hope I didn't forget anything. Thanks for your time
