i was changin the oil on my 2000 blazer today when i notice around the oil pan and in front of it was dark thick greasy lookin like something is leaking and is very dirty, idk what this could be...i also just had i believe it was a sloenoid in the transmission replaced

 

does it smell like tranny fluid?

i find that tranny fluid and oil smell very different...maybe its just me???????

 

I have a very similar situation on my truck. Is your trans slipping? Also, did you check the levels of your oil and tranny fluid?
