Transmission shifter locked

Upon further research, I'm thinking the floor shift BTSI only has 3 wires. We'll see when the OP responds

yes, there are 6 post on the connector and only 5 wires, 3 of which are broken

Is there any trace of the wire color left at the terminals, so you can see where each broken wire needs to go?
Are you able to unplug the connector?
As Kyle mentioned in post #30, you'll need to remove the terminals in order to repair them.
Are you, or someone you know, able to solder wires?

If I can remove the metal ends, I can probably see the wire colors.
I think the wiring diagram someone sent has the wire colors in relationship to the connector.
I did unplug the connector
And I can solder the wires if I can get the ends out of the connector. I suspect it is not possible to buy the affected portion of the wiring harness. I will have to buy one of those special tools or see of O'Rielly loans them out.

You could try a boneyard and see if they will sell just the connector with a few inches of wire still attached. Then it's just a matter of splicing the new connector & pigtail on to the vehicle harness.
