the ignition diagnostic link doesn't work, can you reattach the link for me? Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes.

"engine cranks but does not run" link sends you to a diagnostic sheet, while going through the diagnostic sheet it tells you to go to "symptoms" but there isn't anything labeled "symptoms" Am I missing something?

Fixed the link. If you engine starts and continues to run, then the diagnostic chart isn't for you. The questions/answers in the chart may be of use to you which is why I attached it.

Rarely discussed, high failure item is the ignition switch. There is a reason there are tech writeups in BF about how to change. It wiuld be the first on my list to replace after the fuel pump for a non starting 4.3L.

Alright, after a bit of playing around, i decided to replace the CAM sensor, so while pulling the cap and rotor I noticed that both the cap and rotor were corroded >.< I replaced the cap and rotor not even a year ago, but when my friend installed the cap last time he broke an ear off of my distributer so he had it 'jimmy rigged' to stay on tight... well apparently it wasn't on tight enough because water definitely got in and corroded the cap. Such a simple part to replace... yet it took me way to long to figure it out.. ugg..
