Turn Signal Flasher Location????

Default Turn Signal Flasher Location????

98 Blazer Zr2. Need help finding turn signal flasher relay. All i can find out is that is behind the right side of the dash. does anyone have pics of the location or know what has to come out to replace it like the glovebox or kickpanel??? Thanks in advance!!!

It should be located behind the glove box. This should help:


To fully open the glove box, first empty out the contents of the glove box if you do not want it all to end up on the floor. Then locate the retaining tab in the upper left corner of the glove box opening in the dash. Lift up on the spring loaded retaining tab and rotate the glove box out.

Check out THIS POST for pictures. It is unrelated, but does show the flasher relay which is the part that is held in by the green strap.

its just as bit confusing on the diagram (utility) is for blazer right?

and if so which is the driver side flasher 2?4?3? or 6?

My signal flashers are behind the dash upper left of the ashtry under the radio. If I remember you take the bottom panel under the steering column off. Not sure if that's the correct diagram. Check the google searh box on the BF home page. I sure could be wrong.

One flasher is for your 4way flashers the other is your turn signals both sides.

which is which? and can i still splice into the directionals or is it going to be connected to both sides ??

The green strap is a wire tie Cut it.
