Vacum Resevoir ball

Default Vacum Resevoir ball

Does anyone know were resevoir gets its vacuum from. I cant find a nipple anyplace on the plenum other then brake booster and vac line from resavoir is just three feet of unattached tube.....

It attaches to a tee inboard of the brake booster. Sounds like you have two lines hanging loose probably below the brake booster, unless the previous owner decided to reroute things and deleted the reservoir.

Start the engine and put your ear between the brake booster and the rear of the engine and see if you can hear a hissing sound. If you can and can find the tee, that is your culprit. This is on a 2nd gen, if that is what you have. Not sure on the 1st gen.

Thank AJBert the t was disconnected but that was not the problem. Bad out of the box Chinese TPS. Runs great ! Got a delco in there now, thanks to you and Chuck!
