NV233 2 speed selectable transfer case, and RPO C60 manual HVAC: The vacuum lines for HVAC & 4WD are 5/32" & 7/32". If you purchase 20' of 5/32" and 5' of 7/32", that should be plenty. Don't laugh too hard at the diagram below, it's quite obvious that I am NOT an artist, I never claimed to be one This diagram is actually for 1998, but your 1996 should be very similar. Any questions, just ask.

1996 originally came with CSFI, not CPI. On the rear of the transfer case, there is a round tag riveted to the case. What is the model number of the transfer case?

Chuck I know on this particular year there was a change over between cpi and the csfi.My mistake though I have the CSFI engine.
My transfer case model number is the NP233
From what I remember the 3 way vacume line connector uses .25 size but that just an educated guess.

1995 was the screwy year, 1996 and newer have CSFI.

NP233 is a 2 speed selectable, electric shift transfer case. 1994 through 1997 use this 3 button switch: Dorman - OE Solutions Four Wheel Drive Selector Switch - Dash Mount 901-059: Get the best 4WD Switch at Advance Auto Parts#

See post #3 for the vacuum line info.

Just out of curiosity:

What is the 10th character of the VIN?
On the RPO sticker in the glove box, is NP1 on the list?

Capt Hook, I believe you posted a vacuum diagram in another thread but I cant find it. You got one for a 2001 4x4x4 4-button system?

Too funny, Yeah, I jumped the gun and posted without having all the data from the OP, so I deleted it. Turns out my guess was correct, so I undeleted the post I was going to post it in your thread but the operating system on my PC took a dump. Installing a new OS now, and I have no idea how to post images from my smart phone, (not so smart operator).
