Question Vacuum Line Chart for 2nd Gen ?

I was replacing some rotted out vacuum lines on my 99 Blazer this afternoon and need to know where a vacuum line goes to.

It's a small line that goes INTO the driver's side inner fender up near the brake booster area. What does this line connect to from INSIDE the inner fender area ????

I'll post a pic shortly.

There is a reservoir inside the fender, it replaces the "ball" that used to hang from the hood on earlier Blazers. Use a light and look between the ABS Modiule and Brake Booster, there should be a nipple protruding slightly. A pair of needle-nose pliers works best to get it back on.

I'll check it out.

Any harm if it's disconnected ? The line broke inside the fender.

Hey man... the line attaches to a little nipple like they said... the nipple is directly below one of the bolts for the abs module bracket on the fender... I've never actually been able to "see" it... only know it by feel haha. And yeah you won't be able to use 4wd and your heat/ac directional controls won't work.

Like everybody else said, it is in the fender right under the abs module. You can move the abs unit out of the a bit to make it easier to get to. When I did it it was a PIA to find it. It is just a small nipple protruding through a small hole in the fender. There shouldn't be any vacuum line that could have broke inside the fender though, it plugs into a nipple that comes through the fender.

What if the ball has a crack/leak? How do you replace it?
