It may just sound like it's ok....verify TDC on crank and compare to rotor on dizzy... is it dead on #1 point?

Yes I made sure of that twice. Going Friday to have the brain flashed . Thinking it might be that since it sat for over a year with no battery

Still not able to pull any other codes, other than the P1345 Cmp/Ckp code? Is code still popping up? Sure connector is fully seated? No damage to the wires on either sensor?

Can you perform a few tests with scanner in hand? I would like you to start and run the vehicle, then raise RPM to 1000 and hold. What degree is cam at? Then raise and hold at 2000 RPM. Did the degree change more than 2°? Let me know and then go from there

Cleared the codes came right back on at 1000 shows 40 degrees at both 1000 and 2000

Idles better lot less shake in the motor. Still have a cylinder that seems like it has more compression when listening to the tail pipe.

All seems to be reading ok with cam then.... it's pointing to dizzy or PCM (very rare -and you have communication with scanner). There's no play in the dizzy rotor twisting side to side? Does the center of the dizzy where rotor sits have play up and down (like in and out of the engine)? You also had rough idle before head gaskets? The fact that it's 46° off makes me think you used wrong timing mark on crank shaft? At 46° you are about 2 teeth off.

But if I used wrong timing marks it shouldn't run right? No play really. Little bit of play just clicking back and forth a hair. Nothing major. But here again it sat for about a year with no battery and the intake off and such so idk if that could have caused something to freak out
