Wants to stall under throttle at first start up

If it fell to 35 then we still have problems. You better go to the sticky and redo the whole thing because now we have to see if it holds proper values at the filter output which will tell you if the new(est) pump is OK. If so then we have a problem with leaking injectors or a bad regulator.

New pressure regulator has been installed. I managed to break the MAP sensor off the intake as I was cleaning it before I put it back on. So since I have to replace that I figured I would replace the gaskets as well so I stopped for the night. Hopefully the picture of cyl. 6 shows up.

So I replaced the FPR and got everything buttoned back up. Fuel pressure stays around 58, key on engine off and holds. However......
now I have a misfire in cylinder 4 which is new. And I hear a thumping from the rear.
I assume the thumping is the evap canister.
Misfire on 4??? Could an injector line got pinched? I’m going to have to tear this upper intake off again, so I’m walking away for a few hours.

I don’t think I have that capability George. I have an Innova 3040 scanner, it has some nice functions but not too certain about misfire count. I will look around on the menu for it. Fuel pressure is solid though. Lol.

If you have an Android device, Les can get you the hook up on low cost software and a BT dongle that has it. If not then we can do some other things like a drop cylinder test, live spark monitoring, compression, etc.
