Wants to stall under throttle at first start up

Well it’s the dangest thing. I went back out to connect my scanner to see if I had the option to see the misfire count, that answer is no. But, I started it up to check the live data again and get the fuel trims and it sounded pretty smooth.
So I throttled her a little and it still sounded smooth. Now I was intrigued so I backed it out and took a short test drive, then a longer one. It’s running great now and doesn’t have a misfire.
Im happy but not convinced quite yet. I will have to run it a few days and see what she does. Maybe it was just a gremlin.

It’s been a week and she’s been running just fine.
Onlly code left is P0420 which from what I gather is typically exhaust. It could use and exhaust so that is next on the list. At least we are getting some road time out of it now.
Still have this weird thumping / pumping type random noise from the rear. It will happen at random times and doesn’t seem to have a pattern.
Thank you guys for your help and if this other noise sounds familiar, give me an idea.

It’s the cat efficiency or the O2 sensors mistakenly claiming a lack of cat “conversion”. One quick test is to shoot the cat in front and behind with an IR gun to see if it’s converting. A pressure gauge in the front O2 sensor hole to see if it’s getting plugged from crumbling cat material or looking at the O2 sensors on live data to see if they are outputting correctly.
