I got same water sound comming from the back of my truck. I pulled that plug and no water came out. Thought about just driving around for a day or two without it in.

wouldnt hurt. just park it on an incline that lifts the front

LOL yea maybe i should try the parking on and incline first, since driving around with the plug out in the snow wouldnt help to much lol

I had to coerce mine with a flat head screwdriver, but after a few seconds of poking around, I swear a quart of water came out, along with some mud and leaves...no french fries though It sounds like you're towing a pool; gets annoying after a while.

I know this is a really old thread, but it just helped me out. Just an FYI you also have the same plug on the driver side that will also contain water and make a nice slushing sound
