UPDATE!!!

so i solved all the problems with the car as of right now. I found out that the thermostat would not open because when the water pump blew out it sucked in alot of air. and there for too much air in the system. So i jsut had to purge out all the air and it works great now.

Thanks for all your guy's help!!

So I missed the part where it was getting hot, or did you leave that little detail out?

This sounds familiar. I should check mine. I changed the pump about a year ago, and I saw some coolant under my car. I will check those bolts, and my fan clutch.

The belt thing is my bad, but I have a regular rotation 4.3 with v belts and full width serp also in a blazer, on the same engine. V8 pump. V8 timing cover. Guess not knowing what I am supposed to do works just as well. Camaro?
