Default Water pump problems

I just replaced my water pump on my 2000 blazer. It still leaks. What can do?

Check the heater hoses. I JUST went through the same thing, changed the water pump TWICE in the course of a few days and it still looked like it was leaking... Turned out to be the short bypass hose on the top of the pump that feeds to the intake manifold. I went ahead and replaced it and the two hoses leading to the heater core since I've never replaced them since I've had the tuck, she's been bone-dry under the hood ever since.

The pump's gasket mating surfaces could be warped. Is it an aftermarket pump?
