If there is air in the heater core and/or the heater core is restricted (partially plugged), it can cause this noise.

I changed out my radiator cap and it fixed the problem pretty quickly. You might want to get one from autozone (5-10 bucks), then run the vehicle with the passanger side elevated slightly (cap off) and that should get the air out. Then replace the cap.

Be careful. Let the engine cool. Hot radiator fluid sucks (ask me how I know). I would also get a flush scheduled in. I hear Dexcool doesn't do well with air in the cooling system. (sludge)

Good chance it is air in cooling system as others have said. The hard part can be finding out how it is getting in there. I've got a 1999 model and in my case it was from a leaking intake manifold gasket.

Yeah, my ride started doing this too. I told the wife to bring it in for a flush and hopefully that solves it. I would do it myself, but I am currently in Iraq, so needless to say I cannot get to it. I should have told her to buy a new radiator cap while she was at it. Oh, well. I will just have her do it the next time I talk to her.

sounds like air in the coolant system like others have said, the wet floor might be a sign of a clogged drain vent(ac condensation around the evaporator core and rainwater drain through this vent) sometimes it gets clogged and the passenger side floor compartment because soaked with water it's worth looking into
