Default Weird head light problem, blazer 95

Chevrolet Blazer 1995 LT My Headlights are dimmed and weak. The High Beam wont work, The Low beam (or Driving lights) are very dimmed. on my headlight button panel. when its on OFF and car is on idle, there used to be driving lights but not anymore. i have to press inn the button with 2 lights icon then the weak driving lights will come on. when i press the high beam, nothing changes. Have me headlight Relay gone bad? where can i find it in my car?

It sounds like you have DRLs (daytime running lights) and may be having a problem with the DRL relay. The DRL relay is located on the convenience center which is located under the passenger side dash behind the glovebox. That could explain the high beam problem, however, it doesn't explain the low beam problem.

If the grounds were problematic, it may explain both problems. There will be a ground on each side near the headlights.

Here are some wiring diagrams that may help. There is one for each of the following: Composite w/ DRL, Sealed w/ DRL, & Sealed w/o DRL

i've changed the Relay the biggest of the 4relays.but no changes still dimm and weak lights. gonna check the connector to se if its bad with yellow rust or what u call it.
but those other 3 smaller ones, are those for interior lights only?

problem solved.

to all of us folks outside USA.
i bought my h4 lights from usa but my car was bought in norway. so due to diffrent system/setup/voltage. my connector got fried!
i replaced with som dirt cheap h4s from the local chop. and replaced the connectors. it worked i can drive at night again..
