Default wet seat belt???

2002 ZR2. First good rain and my seat belt is soaked but only behind the plastic housing where it rolls up. Can't see anyplace it is coming in and the carpet below is dry as can be. I have replaced the weather strip around the door and the channel weatherstrip.
Ideas........anyone?

how are your door hinge pins? I had a massive leak on the passenger side because the door wasn't sealing. Once I had the pins replaced the leak went away.

New pins and bushings. I just don't understand why only the belt is wet, floor and everything else (that I can see and feel) is dry as a bone.

Just fixed the exact problem yesterday. Found out it was leaking in a crack at the top of the door outside. I'm not sure if someone put some putty there before but the putty was old and I put a little sealer and it's fixed. No more wet seat belt.

It took me half an hour to figure out how to get a picture uploaded that wasn't giant size put didn't figure out how to include text yet. In the picture you can see some body colored putting at the center of the three rubber seals. That's where it was leaking and resealed. Hope that helps
