Is it a steel line that has a few bends in it and goes back to the same side it starts at. If so it is the power steering cooler. The transmission cooler and the engine oil cooler are on the ends of the radiator.

oh ok. I was just wondering...

how effective is the stock trans cooler? I'm thinking of installing a trans cooler but do not have the money to buy a expensive one.

I'm moving to Fl and going to tow a 5X8 trailer probably with everything loaded in it it will be around 1500 lbs.

I sold all of my furniture so I am only bringing boxes of my stuff.

Thanks

Jim

stock trans cooler is alright I would just get a b&m like the one I have in my sig its pretty cheap and easy to install and makes a difference in trans temp since air is flowing through it

B&M SuperCooler is what I have used since they switched to their viscosity controlled bypass to prevent over cooling of the fluid. They work great and come with everything necessary to install!

If you are doing any kind of towing or live in a hot climate, a transmission cooler will definitely extend the life of the transmission fluid and your transmission.
