Default What part is this?

I have a RHD 1999 4.3lt AWD Blazer and it has started to leak small drops of oil from the component in the photo.

I have looked everywhere to try and find a replace gasket for it, but no one seems to know what the part is called or can locate it from the part number which is WC10005.

Can any one help me please?

Many thanks for your help.

It looks like a remote oil filter assembly. But weird in that a radiator hose connects to it possibly for 'cooling'. Not sure where you're located-or what you think is leaking-the lines or gasket where the lines bolt on but..I'm sure someone makes it (ie Dorman or others)..If the gasket is leaking on the side where the 2 lines bolt on, that looked like a normal oil cooler line gasket which is normally part of a total cooler line 'kit'. But if you took it apart and took it to a GM dealership, I bet they could match it up..I imagine the lack of response is due to the fact that this is a totally different animal (RHD) than we are used to seeing here..Jerry-good luck.

Yes the RHD coolers are totally different, the transmission fluid cooler & the oil cooler is combined into a single unit instead of utilizing the radiator end-tanks. I seem to remember seeing a similar post on here a while back. There were some photos of it in pieces & all it consisted of was various O-rings & no actual gaskets.
The best option in this case is probably to contact Bauer Millett in Manchester as they have all the parts diagrams for the RHD models & would almost certainly be able to help.
I am always very reluctant to use Bauer Millett as they are stupidly expensive but sometimes when only genuine parts are available there is sadly no choice.
If you were able to get some part numbers from them & then google them you might get lucky & find the parts on a US GM parts website. I did this when I needed a radiator a couple years ago (again, different for the RHD models). Bauer Millett wanted over £750 for it but managed to get the exact same genuine AC Delco one from RockAuto for half that including delivery.

Rottie, Old friend, jeff,, just cut the ***** out with your chop-saw and re-run the oil-line.

Change the oil at 2 TIMES Reg intervals and you will much better then fine!

No filter needed.

Any idea what the gasket is made of? Eg Klingersil, rubber, metal reinforced graphite? I repair pumps and valves for a living, I may be able to make you one... :-
