Default What are these wires for?

I have had these 4 wires hanging down near the brake pedal so I opened the trip up and took some pictures of it. It comes from the black plastic box and the ends are cut off.. What is this for if anyone knows?

*The size of the pics were too big so I just posted the links so it doesn't mess up the post

Also there is a wiring in the back of the car on the bumper which goes to the license plate lights but there is another section to it that is completely cut :

The taped up and zip tied bundle of wires at the back is the factory wiring for a trailer plug. The other connector that is there I am not sure about. What color are the wires at the back of the plug you are holding in your last picture? In the first picture from the back of the truck, it looks like the wires that came out of that connector went into the wiring harness directly above the connector. Something must have really had it in for those wires back there to chew them up like that.

Under the dash, it looks like the remains of an aftermarket remove starter and/or security system.

The two on the right seem to be brown and the two on the left are black..
And yeah the chewed up wires are weird. I found a lot of absurd stuff with this vehicle anyway. Found piles of rat poop near the thermostat housing. I found a birds nest on the chassis under the driver side door so I'm not that surprised by the wires being chewed

Exclamation Lost ground for trailer

2000 Blazer 4x4, pulling a trailer, lights are dim, checked plug coming from behind bumper, unwrapped wires, lost my ground, unwrapped wires starting up frame, where does ground wire (Large white wire) start at, I know I can tap in any whare, but would like to make sure I have a good ground at the begining.
Thank you Dennis

Just checked it further and the bundled part comes from the area near the top of the fuel tank and it seems to be soldered with red plastic covers on the soldered points and it has 11 wires. After that it goes straight to the bundled part. On the way one part goes to the middle of the frame at the top connecting to a black plastic box that is connected with the hose to the evap canister(not sure what the part is called) plus a ground. I looked at rock auto searching trailer cabin and on the electrical section there was something but nothing similar to this. Does anyone know the part number to this unit or should I just go through junkyard cars hoping to find a clean one?
