after a tranny rebuild its running at 2000 rpms at 55mph. 2100 at 60. I know this cannot be normal. I have owned 2 other older blazers 93/94. this one I have now is a 95. also I have a 97 bravada and two friends that have a 97 jimmy and bravada. THEY ALL RUN UNDER 1700 RPMS. my 94 s10 blazer I used to have ran right at 1600rpms. I went to electric fans and it went down to 1550 rpms at 55mph. so I ask everybody here whats your rpms at 55mph? also it ran at 2000 before the rebuild aswell. but transmission was all out of whack. and still is but whatever. thanks

auto 7004r -4.3 vin w CPI - think the gearing is 373s - 31-10.5-15 Hankook MS Danapro tires - I will confess however this is with LIL Red [my avatar] started out as a totaled 92 GMC Jimmy and the RX7 body is more areodinamic than a Blazer - even tho the roof is about stock blazer roof height she would be considered lifted -nose and bumper is about at 3 ft rear spoiler sits at 4FT

that's really cool odat. well it turns out that guy at the shop took it for a ride with a scanner pluged in and the computer is not letting the tranny lockup and is sending max line pressure. and he cant figure out why other than the scanner also saying that the tps is out of range. I checked tps with scanner and its fine. haven't checked for 5v at plug yet but will later today.
