Default Wheel Bearing Replacement

I was trying to clarify something so I know for sure. For my 96 4x4, my rear driver wheel bearing is out. When I change it, I have to change the complete hub assembly right? Because you can't just change the wheel bearings? And also, how hard of a job is it to change the wheel bearings out? I doubt I even have the right tools with me.

Yes, sorry, the front. Lol, that was a moment of dyslexia. I meant you have to change the hub assembly because you just can't change the wheel bearing out in the front right? And for the rear, you can just change out the wheel bearing?

Ok, thanks for the help. I've heard good things about Timken parts. Do they make good bearings?

yes, the front bearings are part of the hub. You have to replace the hub as the bearings are not replaceable. and yes timken makes good bearings
