I've done wheel bearing hub/assembly replacements before, and I've never had this issue. I have 2 of the 3 bolts off on the hub assembly. I can't get to the third bolt in its current position. I went to go crank the vehicle to turn my wheels the other way, and the key will not turn over. I suppose it has something to do with the brake calipers, but I never recall having an issue with this before.

 

Nevermind, just had to beat the hell out of the steering wheel to get it to unlock.

 

you may have had a load against the lock, rocking the steering wheel should have released the lock mechanism

 

That's pretty much it. I broke it free in a fit of rage, lol.

 

Sometimes the best tool is a fit of rage.
